Permission problems rarely look urgent until scale begins. A clean access model keeps buyers productive while protecting ownership, finance and long-term continuity.
We can review current access design and point out where ownership and working permissions are too mixed.
Grant access by operating responsibility: owner, operator, analyst, finance reviewer, partner or client observer. When the role is clear, permission changes stay cleaner over time.
| Role | Needs | Should avoid |
|---|---|---|
| Owner | Structural control and emergency access | Daily campaign clutter |
| Buyer | Campaign edits and diagnostics | Unneeded finance authority |
| Analyst | Measurement and reporting visibility | Publishing permissions |
| Partner | Time-bound scoped access | Permanent legacy permissions |
Review permissions after onboarding, after role changes, after major campaign phases and before any client or partner offboarding. A review is useful only if someone is accountable for removing what is no longer needed.
Before removing access, confirm ownership continuity, backup visibility and any tasks that still depend on the user or partner. Then remove elevated roles first and archive the review trail.
Unclear role design. Teams invite people quickly and only later realise control and visibility are too mixed.
At minimum after onboarding, role changes and offboarding. High-change teams may need a monthly review rhythm.
Usually no. Client visibility and operator control often need different scopes.
Platform, category and monthly spend are enough for us to recommend the right account route and support path.
